Our Event Charity
We are really pleased that the Official Charity of the Serpent Trail is Havant and East Hants MIND. Mental Health is such a serious problem that can affect everyone at some point so we are proud to work with and be able help this important charity.
You are able to donate via the online entry process at the time of entering or by logging in & editing your entry later, any monies collected will be passed straight to the charity at the close of entries.
Also we would encourage you to fundraise through sponsorship for taking on the challenge of the Serpent races.
If you are thinking of raising more funds for Havant and East Hants Mind then here is the best way to do it, from them;
The best way is to set up an online giving page, because this cuts down on the paperwork and the donation goes directly from the sponsor to the charity so you don't have to collect it after the event! It also makes it easier for us to claim the extra 25% extra Gift Aid from the Government.
We use two main websites which you can sign up to, Just Giving https://www.justgiving.com/ and Virgin Money https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/giving/.
You can promote your run and our cause on social media, Facebook, Twitter and email to everyone you know.
Once you sign up you need to remember to nominate Havant and East Hants Mind as your charity (If you nominate just "Mind" we will not get the money locally).
You don’t have to but you can tell us you intend to fund raise for us by sending an email to Fundrasing@easthantsmind.org or message us on Facebook. We will send you an email with further information to help. Any other support you require please contact us on 07741657105 or Fundrasing@easthantsmind.org.
Good luck and get training!
